Gunpowder River, Baltimore Co., MD 5/28/09

Sporadic sulfurs late afternoon. A nice hatch and spinnerfall right at dark. Water temp was 65F. Sulfurs are in the size 16/18 range and darker than a couple weeks ago. Caught small ones, rolled a couple decent ones. Best luck was swinging wets. A Picket Pin stirred some interest. Had some rises to Paul G's ant. It rained pretty heavy from about 630P til just before dark. Thunderstorms too that chased me to a low hole for a bit.

I really want to get down there sometime. Some nice looking browns and brooks come out of there and the pics I've seen of the stream look great.
