Well after a 2014 in which I never had a trout in my hand, I finally got out in 2015. Nothing big to speak of, but brought 7 to hand, and missed another half dozen hits. Swinging soft hackles, even in slower water (to rising fish) was the technique of the day.

For those of you that are close to the Gunpowder that fish it occasionally, we still need another big blowout spring rain to break up the didymo - it's still too thick to successfully nymph.

I had 30 minutes Sat to fish. First I stopped at Great Feathers to buy some CDC. I found a good spot along Glencoe Rd to fish from the bank and managed to land a small wild brown on a emerger.

I have always been able to find fish near Glencoe road. A mix of wild browns and stocked fish. The further down you get from there, the warmer it gets, so you will also find more fallfish and such.
