Arrived at the Gunpowder at 830 at the upper parking lot of falls rd. It was COLD this morning and I wish that I had brought my gloves. Although, it was bright and blue today, I knew the bwo's would be dancing and I was right! As soon as I made it to the bank of the river I could see rises.

A size 22, moose hair ribbed body with grizzly hazzle was the ticket. A simple, but deadly pattern that drifts high in the film. I wasn't targeting particular fish, but casting in an across/ down presentation while holding the rod high. This has seemed to trigger the rocket rises that the gunpowder browns are known for.

All in all, I landed many fish and missed many. When I left I counted different licence plates; two DC, one PA, one VA, and one MD. Four out of staters to one. I scrubbed my wader thoughly and headed to the Codorus.

I got to the Codorus and all I can say is WTF happened to the flow? I didnt get deeper that my ankles. Picked up a decent 8 incher on a bwo and rolled out. Spawing is just about over on that creek. Beautiful day all in all.

This sounds like a paragraph out of the J. Peterman catalogue on Seinfeld. HeHeHe
