For a long time I have been trying to get a Command Hook to work for hanging my vest or other gear, I think this will work. Testing with 1" of rain on Monday. Tail end of a ratchet strap and a $2.00 biner.

But if the vest & net is clearly visible while hanging through the back window, I'd be looking for more stealthy organization" methods...

My first rule is and always has been, leave NOTHING of value or interest where it is visible for dirtbags to see and provide a reason to break into my vehicle.

And that goes for advertising high end gear with stickers too...

My 2006 Volvo wagon has hooks for clothes hangers in the back that I use for my vest. My wife's 2017 Honda Pilot does not and it is maddening when I take it fishing. How does a 2017 full sized SUV not have a freaking hook in the back???

It's insurance. If you don't put the lids on your salmon eggs tightly enough, the oil goes everywhere. Keeping everything vertical prevents this.

That's the only reason I did it back when I used a vest and salmon eggs.

When I wore a vest; oil or greased stained pockets were a sign you weren't a "poser" like some sport on the cover of a Simms catalog.

Depending on your evolution, the causes of those stains went from salmon eggs, to melted Mucilin or Gink and later, charcuterie stashed in your pockets for lunch or a snack. 😉

Those stains were on the back of my pants from wiping the slime off on my a$$.

I still remember the whispers I heard on stream, "There's that guy who $#!+ his pants" and what they called me behind my back, "Old Dependsable." of "Needs Dependsable." 😉
