Wow! I had two great days here over this past weekend.
The water was a little high but fairly clear. Air temps a bit above normal for this time of year and it was fairly windy.
I used a dry-dropper combo and had success using small, bright colored nymphs. Sulpher, prince, hairs ear, and p.h. all took fish.
I dont pay much attention to the dry this time of year as long as it floats well.
Saturday I landed 6 small bows and Monday I got 10! A few were landed in fromt of bait dunkers who, from the looks of it, weren't having much luck lol.
This seems to be a good spot at the moment for any one who lives near here. Also I heard from some deer hunters that Scotts Run will be stocked tomorrow. I am going to hit both spots tomorrow. This time I will take my camera.
