Only stopped by for half an hour as i was driving by the area with a friend. And its a good thing i did. After a few misses, hooked into a nice fish. Im guessing the flows were average as im not familiar with the creek.

Nice fish mute; flows are are a little below average, and the stream is likely still loaded with fish. Two contests last week, and I did well in two different locations that hadn't been stocked for awhile. One of the guys from the Pick told me he picked up some good sized fish, and lost a beast there recently. Should be some good top water action by now, especially in the eve.

Thanks, and yea i figured there should be. I also stopped by the pick earlier in the day. For saturday there wasnt many people at all.

I wonder how big of a fish he lost? The top action was consistant at the top pool by the tree.

Well you know fishermen........ But that said, this guy fishes all the post derby waters; I've seen him on Darby more than once. The day I saw you on the Pick he was catching more fish than anyone (releasing most as well) just using worms; definitely a highly skilled bait fisherman. Anyway, he said it was 25 plus, and that his drag didn't even phase it. I might make it out that way soon, we'll see. Looks like the stream is starting to rise; could use some more rain, for sure!
