Started fishing around one under bright sunny skies. Water was dead clear and 60, Main hatch was tan caddis, though very few risers. It was slow when I started and I missed three straight, two were clean hook ups for a few seconds, and on a bent rod. Tried to push the negative vibes away and enjoy the gorgeous day, which I did. Fished upstream and away from all other anglers and picked several out of some really nice pocket water. Fished back down and caught more fish from spots that came up empty the first time around. Took four fish from the spot I lost the first one, so I guess persistence pays off. Nothing huge, but a few well colored browns about 13'' with perfect fins were more than enough for me today. BH caddis pupa was good again. Knocked off before six, by which time there were a lot more anglers. Water fished was all under general regs.
