It’s not hard to find a tool in Berks.

It isn't Berks, but I once found two shovels beside some rather large holes dug along along a favorite stretch of a favorite stream in Northampton County...

I immediately panicked assuming I came upon two unfilled graves. After thinking about calling the cops to investigate, my selfishness kicked in when I assumed it would be all over the news and everyone would know my "secret spot."

Finally after having ONE second thought, I realized the holes WEREN'T dug to bury something nefarious, but rather to provide big plies of dirt for local kids to use as bike ramps to jump OVER the holes. 🙄

I was so pissed off that I almost burned my own spot that I took the shovels and threw them in my trunk.

One still lives in my shed, but I ain't posting a picture or a "found" message...

BTW - The holes are still there but barely noticeable after all these years.

It's yours, now. That's how I wound up with a hunting knife I used for many years. (Dad found it stuck in the sand next to a pile of fish guts.)
