For sale very nice fishable cane rod

For sale is an old Montague Rapidan rod. 7 1/2 feet, two tips that are both straight. Rod handles a 3 or 4 weight line quite nicely. Professionally refinished by Jim Downes at his shop in Coburn a few years back. Not a Payne or Leonard by any means but you can get into a very nice fishable rod without breaking the bank. Price is $350. Prefer not to ship. I live 10 minutes from Spring Creek and will meet halfway if the distance is reasonable. (trying to post pictures but not having much luck).

I might be moderately interested in this if it doesn't sell for you soon. I do get to Bellefonte frequently and could meet you to inspect the rod. Any interest in trades by any chance? I wouldn't ask or expect you to hold it for me, but as I said, in the event that you don't get any takers, I might be interested in seeing it at some point.
