Fishing Creek - near Bloomsburg area
Columbia County, PA
5/17/20

Parameters:
Air - overcast, high 60s with drizzle in the area
Water:
Temperature - 64F
TDS - 40ppm
Salt - 0ppt
Conductivity - 60 uS / cm^3
Flow - average, nice week of springtime weather
Hatches:
size 16 - hendricksons (sporadic)
size 20 - sulphurs
size 14 - craneflies

Fantastic top action from 1pm until about 530, all fish keyed on the big grey hendricksons, though they were sporadic. Probably could have done just as well on a wet, but the dry action was too fun to pass up.

Interesting, I fished up above Benton and there was little or no sign of life. Same day, same time frame, beautiful water, few bugs, no rises, nothing on nymphs, nothing on wets.

This whole season has been bizarre. The hatches are about near a month off. One stretch of the creek has one hatch, then a mile down the road it's another hatch.
