fished fishing creek in the benton area in my secret spot. lots off march browns and cahills. Very few risers, it would be quite for about 45 min. even though there were bugs coming off the it would there would be 20 trout rising for about 5 min. chasing emergers. picked up 6 browns all on march brown nymphs, nothing on top.

I fished above benton on june 2 and 3. I only got a couple on march brown nymphs but got quite a few on top with sulfurs. surface was dead until about 8:15 at night then they decided to come to the top

Just curious march browns this time of year? They should have been over a while ago. Sure they weren't some kind of drake (green, brown, slate)?

no march browns on this creek will usually stay with numbers until the 3rd week of june.

Yep still March Browns there bigjohn. Not as heavy as a few weeks ago but as jr states the hatch does last for a few weeks.

I fished on Fishing Creek and Huntington last Saturday in my secret spots.🙂 Had a pretty good day with caddis larvae, nymphs and some dry fly activity. I grew up in Berwick and pretty much know that creek like the back of my hand.
