Water was very low but the temperature was good. Started fishing very early morning. Some caddis and spinners were around. I kept to the fast water at the head of holes and did fairly well. I got 8 fish all on top. 2 on a number 18 Adams and the rest on a tan caddis. I saw a fish come clear out of the water chasing a fluttering caddis. So I would do a little drag of the fly as it hit the water and man they would smack it. The fun was over as soon as the sun hit the water.

Hey Joe,
I am from the Hazleton area, and am looking to fish Fishing Creek above Bloom soon, is there any access you care to let me know i can get in the creek from?>

thanks

Dave

Dave,
I fished up there on Wednesday. The fishing doesn't really get going until 7:30 or 8:30. Sulphurs and large cahills work well. Take 487 north to Orangeville. Continue on 487 for approximately 2 miles above town. There will be a steel bridge on right. Do not turn and cross bridge. There is a parking area off 487 just above the bridge. The DHALO area above Benton my also be a good spot. Good luck
