I fished the cabin waters from 8am until about 1230. The air temperature started out at 55, and was 70 when I left. It also started out cloudy and that lead to blue bird skies.
As soon as I got out of the truck there was a pretty decent hatch of iso, though the fish didn't really care. I tried swinging wets and blind casting parachutes with no luck.
I moved downstream and found bugs and rising fish. There were bwos, cahills, isos, caddis, and sulpurs. The fish were very selective and i had to pretty much change patterns whenever I wanted to target a different fish.
I found a size 18 bwo to be the ticket today.
