Fished for a few hours in the afternoon as the opening day crowd died down. Grannoms were coming off steadily along with a mixture of mayflies. Wild browns were taking a size 16 elk hair Caddis with a black icedub body. I did not catch a stocked trout despite being in a heavily stocked section. Water conditions were near perfect for the stream in my opinion.
