Fished the Delayed Harvest section from 10am to 1pm. This was a new section of stream to me so I fished a streamer to quickly learn the water and see where the largest concentration of fish were. One run had a number of rising fish (around 20) and several followed my streamer without taking, so I setup there. I started with a sz 14 Yellow bodied Adams and quickly hooked a nice fish that gave a spirited fight. The rainbow measured 19 inches. I went through a long dry spell despite the fish being very active. I finally tied on a sz 16 BWO (despite not seeing any) and I quickly caught 3 rainbow and 1 brown ranging 13-16 inches. Water temp was 65 degrees and 2 of the fish needed some assistance to get moving again.

Having spent the week in Potter, several anglers reported catching big First Fork fish in 20"-24" range. Based on what I caught and what I saw that I didn't catch, there are some real dandy fish here.
