I fished First Fork upstream of Costello both evenings from about 7:30 until 9:15 p.m. Both evenings started with a good march brown hatch followed by a heavy sulphur hatch. I had a lot of luck with dries and also a bit of luck with wet flies. I was the only fly fisherman at a popular hole Sunday night after the rain. I was able to hook 8 in about an hour. I also missed 2 or 3. Additionally, the green drakes were out but not in too strong of numbers. March browns, sulphurs, and green drakes all hatched within an hour and a half of one another both nights. Water was low but cool. Very good fishing overall; however the fish would not take anything during the day.
