It took me a minute to understand the zip ties on center consoles reference......I guess the tool somewhat makes sense when you realize its for saltwater fishing.

For that price I'd gladly stick to the zip ties though.

I just use the helm (hook onto the spokes) or the suicide knob to tighten knots, if I need to.

A wet knot slips easier. I use the loop stays for my outriggers for knots. My pliers are a c note.GG
