Saw that the temp was gonna be around 45 degrees so I made the drive out to falling springs. I started in the Heritage section upstream and was surprised to see fish rising all throughout the pool I was gonna fish. A quick glance down at the water revealed a nice midge hatch and a water temp of the usual 51-52 degrees. After setting up my leader for nymphing I reconstructed it and added 7x tippet with a Sz 20 Griffiths Gnat. I wasn't longer than an hour and I hooked into 6 wild rainbows. Before leaving the spot I threw a bugger in from above the pool and hooked into a nice 13" wild bow. Moved upstream a good ways and stuck with little olive streamers, was able to get 2 more rainbows and a really nice brown. Before leaving I stopped down by the hospital and saw that some new pine trees were planted along the stream and some old ones taken out which opened up alot of new areas that were not easily accessible before.
