Fished FS on Saturday am and had the stream to myself!!
Tricos came off pretty good with a dragged out spinner fall around 10 to 11. The fish are getting much more picky about the imitations you throw at them but i managed 5. One good size brown smacked a beetle i put on after numerous drifts over him with a trico.
I also hit the gunpowder falls today (monday) and had a great time fishing the trikes there!! Parked at Masemore Rd and wound up hiking almost up to the dam before i found a likely looking spot for a spinner fall. hit the nail right on the head when 10 o clock came around it was on with a steady barrage of trico "snowflakes" coming down and good size wild browns sipping left and right.
anyone within an hours drive should definetly hit Gunpowder soon as the tricos are good and then size 18 and 20 tan caddis keep the topwater action hot!
