Time Fished: 1200-1430 hours
Weather and Water: Overcast with little wind. The air temp was in the lower 40s and it was nice day for early February. I'd estimate that the water was a little cooler, probably around low 50s with the run off. The water was clear in the upper end and cloudy, as you went further down.
Hatches: BWO (size 18) and Midges. The olives were sparse, but they were around and I was able to take two small rainbows on snowshoe BWO patterns.
Technique: Dry fly fishing for an hour to a small group of risers, then working the undercuts with streamers.
Results: Two little wild rainbows (skittles) and a nice brown in the 16-18 inch range on an olive sculpin. Great day for a short trip!!!
