Fished Elk, Walnut, 4 Mile and 20 Mile. Creeks were blown out in the morning on the 16th. 4 mile fished well in the evening, black wooly buggers did well. The 17th Walnut was hot and fishable. Olive wooly buggers, tan/olive crayfish did quite well in the chutes. Hit 20 mile in the evening with beadhead PT and black stone flys being key. Next few days the water was low and clear again. Found some real nice water middle elk holding decent numbers of fish. Black stones, black stones and more black stones were the ticket fished tandem with beadhead PT. 21st had rain overnight, hit walnut, creek rose about 8-10" in the morning with the fish going wild. Egg sucking leeches and wooly buggers did well. Over all a great week, some days were easy and others you had to work for the fish.
