I fished saturday because of the one-fly we have every year ,it had rained friday nite and the creeks were high and muddy, 20 mile was blown out ,elk was muddy and high ,walnut was muddy but fish were caught. i went today oct 12 to 20 mile caught a few the creek is low and clear,saw many fish taken and kept. i left 20 mile and went to 16 mile saw a few fish and lots of people ,left there and headed to elk creek, up from follys end the creek is low and clear but fish are in the holes caught 2 and left not many people up there YET the temps were 46 and they are calling for a few flakes tonite if we get a little more rain it should be great hope this helps if anyone is thinking of making the trip

You're saying the crowds aren't up far at Elk yet? Thats encouraging.... might just have to give that a shot. Nothing I hate worse than the crowds, but what are ya going to do?
