Hit up elk today from about 8-3 walked a lot of the stream managed a nice 22inch as seen below. And what trip wouldn't be complete without a big ugly sucker :b

Nice. From what I've been hearing the fishing on Elk has been pretty slow. Good to see someone's catching fish! I fished for steelhead this weekend and last weekend in Ohio and did good, but the season will be winding down. The big lake run smallies will be in though!

Your right Nick it was slow. Every person I ran into either was striking out, or had just one. Also I forgot to mention, got him on a white wooly bugger. I hope to get up again this weekend. Maybe take my chances on walnut again.
