Don't stop now, still good steelhead fishing. Try Conneaut Creek (the Ohio section). They have a different strain of steelhead than the PA streams and seem to have better runs and fishing in the spring. I usually fish PA up until Feb. then switch over to Conneaut until May (pending on water conditions). Good luck if you try and nice pictures.

I'm not stopping because the fishing in Erie turned bad, but because I expect the fishing closer to home to turn good. You guys that have a shorter trip or don't mind the long drive have at it. I'll see you in September or October
