Elk Creek Erie Co. 1-22-17

With temps near 60° and late Steelers game made it a great time to visit Erie. Bruno , Andrew and I fished upper elk from probably seven till about 1 PM we each caught a few fish nothing great but the conditions were very good and of course there were other Angler's but we basically had whole stretches to ourselves for many hours Fish were taken on pheasant tails here's here's eggs buggers. Stream levels was nice not high but a little green tint. May not have weather like that again. Ran into David and family too

Andrew had a little episode where a bunch of things from his sling pack fell out while he was trying to pick up a fish that he just landed, so here's a picture of him chasing his stuff down the stream also lost the fish in the process before the hero shot but he did eventually get the fish and his bugger back out of his fish's mouth. And most of his stuff. Hilarious- yard sale in the stream. Funny Davids family found your tippet later in the day.

Great Trip and great company. I am still amazed at how much good water people walk right by to get to the "hole".
