EB Brandywine DHALO, 2/16/2009

Fished the DHALO stretch from the big hole down to the little bridge at the lower parking area. Fished from 10:30 to 3. Air temp started out around 35 and ended up around 44 but still felt like 30 with the wind chill. Water temp on my one reading was around 34 F. Picked up 1/2 dozen mostly rainbows and 1 brown. The brown was the smallest at around 10 inches. The bows were all 12+ with the best being a hair under 15. All took either pink sucker spawn, red or orange eggs with 1 on BHPT. Missed 4 or 5 more. The egg hatch was definitely on today. There were small reddish/dark pink eggs throughout the lower half of the stream. Saw a little bit of midge activity but quiet for the most part bug-wise.

I think this section is scheduled to be stocked this week so the weekend or next week should be interesting.
