Fished the DHALO from Karl Guss Park. Didn't do all that great with the brookies but caught a skinny rainbow on a white streamer. Water was lower and crystal clear. At least I didn't take a skunk. Didn't see any stocked fish at the upper bridge hole. I am assuming herons or poachers cleaned it out after the fall stocking.

I'd guess poachers. last time I was down there in the early summer passed a former county jail client coming out with his worm cup in hand walking up the pipeline trail. Stocking truck followers love that area.

albud, that crick was taken off the fall stocking list........I miss fishing it in the winter when there was water in it. Still can catch some brookies, but the stockies have long been poached out.

Not sure if I fish the east or west but I had a terrific day above a stocked section. Seemed like a picnic area in the lower area. Been several years.

If you were at Karl Guss park, you were in Juniata County.
