East Licking 5/09/2009 Clarks Creek 5/09/2009

Fished the East Licking Creek at the Delayed Harvest. Didn;t venture far from the road but I managed to catch 10 on streamers and a glo bug. About 3pm I headed to the fly area at Clarks. Missed a few on wooly buggers and caught several with a BH walt's worm as a dropper. Not much bug activity other than midges which some fish were rising to. Water at both places was pretty good, clear conditions and good flow.

I was thinking of going to Licking Creek today and didn't. Would have been a nice day to be up there.

I fished it in late March and did real good. Maybe I'll go up Sunday if its not too windy. Not a good place to be when the wind is blowing and knocking branches down!
