East Hickory and Caldwell Creeks 9/8-9/9

Pretty much same report for both streams. Fished DHALO on East Hickory and both C and R sections on Caldwell. Running fairly low and slow. Caddis hatch at nightfall on both streams, but no risers. No trout, many chubs on both streams. Water temps 67-69 degrees. Air temps 70s, threatening rain both days and overcast.

Several area Forest/Venago county class A streams running low and clear, water temps 60-65, produced a few small trout. No hatches and all caught on nymphs and wets swung in pocket water.
