East Branch Brandywine Creek, DHALO - Chester County - 10/09/2011

Fished from about 5pm - 7pm on the Delayed Harvest section. Had to make up for a poor showing on Saturday morning. No Thermometer but if I had to guess I would say water was low to mid 60's. Water clear and slightly high. Started with a Bead Head Pheasant tail and no luck at all. Switched over to an olive wooly bugger and that did the trick. Managed a Rainbow and 4 Smallmouth bass. Had something on that felt much bigger but it sat in the current and I could feel him shaking his head to throw the hook and he succeeded. (most likely another stocked bow) Got dark at about 7pm so I quit and went home for dinner. Ran in to a good many other fisherman as well. Also saw a good bit of Caddis flies coming off
