East Branch Brandywine, Chester Co. 3/20/11

Checked out the stream today for something different. The water temp was 48, air was about the same. Many midge hatchings, BWO 20, and black caddis.

Fishing pressure was pretty amazing. I saw at least 12 other fishermen from 2:30-5:00. Most were spin guys. I caught a couple rainbows around 12." I managed to hookup with a couple of sizable browns too. The stream is quite pretty.

Even with all the people was there room to fish?
i have been there before when you can't move about too much and have to look for a spot . I think you did well. I sometimes feel I find a nice open spot but that it had been fished hard just before I got there.
