Got my music gear unloaded from last nights gig and headed down around 11. Water clear and higher than average; 61 when I checked early. Sunny and breezy with lots of tan caddis and no risers. Fished up the East branch and landed a few and missed and spooked a couple more. Dropped down the Middle and landed a few more before taking a lunch break. The tuna hoagie from the Landenberg Store hit the spot! Fished a variety of water and found fish in all sorts of locations, though I caught most from fast riffles. I'd say I caught fish in a dozen different spots with several giving up multiple fish; the nicest was a 14'' in brown though several were 13'' and fat. I took three on the way out from the top of the swimming hole despite a whole family just getting out of the water. Luckily I had covered that one earlier, and done quite well. Then I took a couple from a super fast riffle where I blanked earlier. Many fish were educated and just a beautiful day to be on the water! Favorite moment was two young girls watching closely as I carefully played and brought to hand a nice brown. They both quietly applauded and then departed. Had to chuckle at that one.... Nice father's Day!
