Went to Dunbar creek today. The fly\artificial only section. Water was clear and very low. I had one hit on an #18 Red Copper John....and that was it for the morning.

Saw no fish outside of "flat rock" area. I fished the section off the main road....make a right at the PGC building.

Spoke with two other guys who fished way past the parking lot and they wondered if the place had been poached out.

Well, the fish went somewhere.

FWIW

Which county is this?
Please include in the title line the Stream, County, Date Format.

Not a big deal, but we try to keep the rports forum consistent with this format.
Thanks,
DW

A lot of wild brook trout have been showing up upstream.
I would have continued up stream and hit the pocket water.
I did manage a couple of nice size ones when I went last fall.

Date was 7-19-18 and the County is Fayette.

I thought I posted all pertinent information.....but on hindsight, that didn't happen.

No offense taken as to what additional information to include. I'll know better next time.

BTW....I can't seem to edit my initial post, even tho the forum says I can. 😳

Got it. Thanks.

Again, not a big deal. When I posted my first stream report JackM had to explain to me how to do it too. I'm not sure how much time you have to edit a post, I think 30 minutes.
