donegal creek lancaster county 6/14/07

fished the same area as before by the red horse barn. landed a bunch of fish on woolly buggers, prince nymphs and a clouser minnow. all of these fish being rainbows. i did however catch on nice 16 inch brown trout on a sulphur dun. right at dusk too, just when i had to leave. (cant fish donegal at night). anyways the hatch activity was next to nothing.(at least as far as trout rising.)
the water is off color and at about normal flow. thank god for the rains! the water was cooler today (60-62 degrees). i think when the stream clears up some the fishing is gonna be great....just in time for the weekend :-D
