After a morning of fishing with some friends for smallies on a local stream, I decided to try the Donegal. They don't fly fish so I went by myself. I was there from 11:30-2:30. Conditions were low and clear. I did manage two brown, and 2 rainbows. One was on a beadhead hares ear and the other 3 were on a black beadhead woolly bugger. It was a beautiful day to be on the water. I finally caught a trout on a woolly bugger. I'll have to use it more often.
