Floated from Balls Eddy to Buckingham. Two decent Brown Trout caught on dark olive Wooly Bugger. A few follows. High winds made boating and casting difficult. Wind died down late afternoon and a few tiny Olives and midges were on water. Some sporadic risers spotted. Enjoyed seeing deer and Bald Eagles and Beavers. Opening day NY gun season but did not hear many gun shots. All in all a beautiful day on the water other than the wind which wasn't bad in every section. Woke up this morning to a couple inches of snow. Drove up along the East Branch Delaware and enjoyed the scenery then towed my boats home for the season.
