Had a couple hours for a morning trip yesterday so I checked out some new water on the D. The nearest gage (Lambertville) read approximately -0.5 although I'm not sure how the negative numbers work.

Fished from about 6:30 to 8:30am and waited out one heavy shower. The rest of the morning was overcast with a slight drizzle...textbook popper weather.

I've really struggled with smbs this year, but I was finally able to luck onto a few fish looking up. Brought 4 or 5 to hand, with 2 over 12" or so. A white krebs popper fished SLOW along structure and current seams turned out to be the ticket.

May need to head back this weekend.
