Stopped after an abbreviated workday. Sunny, and wind was a bit gusty. Water up a little, and slightly tinged. Hooked a 14 in brook trout on my first cast. Too bad the state had just stocked, because there were still plenty of left over clunkers from the derby. Did hook and loose a 20 in Palomino, that I didn't see till he hit my fly. The good news was there were a lot of fat browns in there, and they were slamming a no 18 ant. Educated a bunch of fish and got home in time to drive my daughter to school for play practice before dinner. BTW, upon studying a map this may actually be called Little Darby Creek; still not positive. Bugs still seem to be mostly caddis and midges.
