Slipped out for a few before during more yard work with the wife; yes she did know. Water was clear, 61, and a little low (this stream seems to have less water than most Del Co. streams) Fished near the Lindberg bridge for the first time this season. Despite it being a post derby chebb fest, it was close to home, and I found some quiet spots. Also discovered a really pretty set of falls; a little higher than the ones at the top of the Ridley fly stretch.
First fish was an 18'' hog that I gave to a guy I knew for his neighbor, who was said to be in dire need. He took a size 18 ant
Caught and released several more, though way less fish than I'm used to, probably do to the general pressure. Not a lot of bug activity, mostly midges. Beautiful day, with temps in the mid to upper sixties.
