Fished from 8:15 for about four hrs. near Sawmill Rd. The water was dead clear and is running below average, temp was 58. It was bright and sunny with a light breeze, the fish were fairly spooky. Lots of midges a few tan caddis, and I saw my first Sulpher; though there were no steady risers. I did land three sunnies on a small caddis dry, but I was using it to deliver a subsurface ant which drew some strikes. My pet bh caddis (14) produced a goodly number of trout to 14'', and a black ant also accounted for several. I won't go back there until we get more rain. The regulars are taking just about every fish they catch, and there aren't a lot of deep holes for them to hide in. It was still a nice morning to be out, and I was pleased with how many fish I educated.
