I went out in the afternoon and made the rounds on several Cumberland County stream locations (several spots on each: Conodoguinet, Letort, Hogestown Run and Trindle Run).
I got quickly tired of the sheets of ice coming down stream on the Conodoguinet. The varied in size from over a yard in length/wide and up to 1/2 inch thick. Startled me many times banging into my legs.
The most fish action occurred in the outflow of the Le Tort into the Conodoguinet. Little dinks (8-10" browns) would hit my 4" streamer up to a dozen times. One became hooked for a photo op. I was hoping to catch their great grand parents.
