Took a quick break from Kettle to fish Cross Fork creek from 2pm to 4pm. Several fish were rising. Saw dark mayflies (sz 14-16) and various size and color of caddis but I didn't catch any to identify. Caught 14 brookies ranging from 5" to 10". Water temp was 55 degrees. The large pools were dead. Caught all fish in riffles.
