started out on crooked this morning seen 11 fish caught 2. seen a pile of smolts and the suckers are starting to come in. water was very low and gin clear made the fish very spooky. i then went to elk for a little bit seen about 5 fish in one hole and a butt load of suckers and smolts. had one hook up but lost it on a rock. elk was also very low and clear never seen another guy either place. most people are home for easter. this was prob my last steelhead fishing for the year unless we get a little rain to get some flow in the creeks. did get to scout for regular trout season most times the brownies will sit in the same places were the smolts are now.
