Cool Spring Creek, Mercer County, 10-6-12

After Neshannock we fished Cool Spring for a little while. We ended up with 9 more rainbows. All on streamers except for one which hit a BH green weenie. We only found fish in the very slow water, and after we would catch a few they'd become very picky but we stuck with it. Changing flies and colors helped once they became uninterested in one color. Other than catching a million leaves and trees, it was an enjoyable fall day on the water!

nice vid streamerguy...ugh i gota get myself down there on saturday...i was back home in lancaster county and a buddy of mine and myself went to Hay's Creek in berks county which also had a recent stocking...we saw a bunch but they didnt budge a single bit with anything we threw at them....thinking they just got beat up because there were a lot of guys fishing there....anyhow...i think i might of seen you down at shenango dam before...i was the goofball in the white cowboy hat and swim trunks :b however i did just invest in some chest waders
