After leaving Fishing Creek we headed here. Conowingo Creek has a class a section on it, but neither of us could remember what the limits were. Shame too, i really want to fish it. Next time 🙂
We arrive at Black Bear Rd. and i was immediately turned off by this stream. Its ugly, ugly and ugly.
The legacy silt in this area is unparalleled. Almost the entire ATW section is eroding into the stream right before your eyes. We saw 1 trout in the stream, 1 trout on a stringer and a tons of chubs. Headed back to the car and left.
I will never come back to this section of stream.
