Conneaut Creek, Ashtabula Cty OH, 11/19/11

Fished Conneaut Creek today. The creek was in great shape, but we didn't catch a lot of fish, but still had a blast! And we only saw about 5 other fisherman the whole day which was awsome. Got a few fish on eggs and stonefly nymphs in the faster water, but saw some in the slower water but didn't catch them. Overall a good day on the water.

Good report and a nice piece of chrome you have there. It is good to see some Ohio tributary reports on here. I am going to make an effort this spring to explore the Ohio tribs, whenever I go back to visit my parents. Great Job!!!

Thanks, compared to the PA tribs there less fish in Ohio, and its not sight fishing most of the time. And like I said I only saw like 5 other fisherman the whole day. Its definitely worth fishing the OH tribs, even if you only get a few fish. Oh and we also saw 2 bald eagles, a few herons, deer, and a mink(or river otter, I couldn't tell). Can't wait to go back out!
