Conewago FFO stretch 3/29 Adams County

Fished from 10 AM until around 2:30 PM Caught 2 and missed a couple on sz 16 beadheaded pheasant tail. Then I switched overt to a sucker spawn. I caught 4 on the spawn. Had one snap my tippet and lost a bunch on the spawn.

Stopped there today again to check the water. The creek was up a bit and just about the right color. Started fishing around 10:30am until a little after 5pm. What a great day. I netted 18 trout 2 brownies and 16 rainbows. Caught them all on Fl orange sucker spawn...Biggest was around 16" Little black stoneflies all over the place floating but no fish were feeding on the surface. May go back tomorrow.

Wow, that's some catching. A long day on the water though huh ?

A lot of creeks looked just prefect on the gauges today - fining down but slightly tinted. I hope to get out tomorrow anyway.

It was really great to be out there today. The weather was great. Going to try and head back again tomorrow before the rain comes

I was there again yesterday and landed 21 on orange sucker spawn. Good luck to you. There are plenty of fish there to catch.
