Fished 12-2pm in swift water near railroad tressle. I threw large cone head streamers with white zonker strips and olive marabou heads, and lots of gold flashabou. Caught three medium smallmouth, largest was near 13 inches. Had a couple other hits from small fish that avoided the hook set. I wet waded (God help me) and really enjoyed the change of pace. I wish there was more fast riffle/run water on the conewago...all my fish came from riffle tail outs. If anyone knows any areas with better water...please feel free to comment!

Nice report - Conewago is one of my favorite waters.

Did you fish today (need date for the title line)?

Glad you made it out there. From the tressel downstream is good for a couple bass sometimes for me. Sometimes maybe even a walleye or cattie.

A couple bass isn't so bad a day anymore around here.
