Fished for a couple of hours this afternoon in County Park. Off and on light rain. River is on the high side for August and murky. Not much action today. Couple of small bass on a chartreuse cactus grub which also enticed a fall fish and a few rock bass. Lost a nice smallmouth that absolutely exploded on a white popper. The same popper produced one decent fish later on. Wading was kind of tough between low visibility and the stronger than normal current.
