Again fished Conestoga River at Perelman Park. Fished from 10:45am-1:30pm today. Water was up a little more from last week when I fished thanks to some recent rain, but still very manageable while wet-wading. Was a little overcast to start, but then the sun started peaking out.

Caught 9 smallies (all about 8-9" long) & 1 tiny rock bass. All caught on top with Clouser Floating Minnow size 1 - white body with chartreuse/white tail with some red crystal flash. It was nice to finally catch some fish on my TFO Clouser rod, hadn't fished it hard, but nice to finally see how it feels with a fish on the other end.

Saw a gentleman teaching his grandson how to cast a spinning reel at the put-in area, was great to see that. I wish that little guy plenty of luck in the future!

I'm sure those 8-9" smallies hit like they were much bigger fish, eh? That's been my experience further downstream anyway.
